TOPSTEPX WORKFLOW

A focused TopstepX chart workflow

A repeatable workflow keeps the chart, order context and position controls in the same place. It also makes the moment when you choose to act explicit.

1. Prepare the chart

Open the contract and timeframe you actually intend to trade. Confirm the active symbol, session context and the visible chart before entering an order. Keep the chart readable: a few deliberate levels are more useful than a crowded workspace.

2. Set size before direction

Choose quantity before you choose LONG or SHORT. Treat size as a risk decision that belongs to your written plan. A quick button can reduce clicks, but it cannot decide whether the size fits your account rules or personal limit.

3. Make the entry type explicit

Separate a stop entry from a limit entry and read the price field before submitting. TSPilot adds controls around the existing TopstepX page; it does not create a second market-data or account connection. Automatic assistance requires explicit activation; automatic entries also require choosing a direction and arming the entry.

4. Manage from the same context

After an entry, keep the active chart and position readout visible. Review the stop, target and quantity you intended. Manual B/E +1 and stop-management actions are available when their conditions fit your plan; the product does not promise a fill, a better price or a profitable result.

5. Pause when context changes

If you change contract, timeframe, account or page, stop and re-check the state. A clean reset is safer than assuming an old pending action still matches the new chart.
